I am running to be the member of the governing board of the Contra Costa Community College District because I feel I can bring a balance to the board. I taught Chemistry and science subjects at community colleges and universities. I am Dr. Kofi. I own and operate my own business, so I am well aware of resources and educational materials. I am convinced we can offer quality education to all students within the district. I fully understand the value of public education. As your next school board member, I will work for small class sizes and better learning environments for our students. I will also ensure that we create a safer and learning environment to achieve these goals. I am committed to promoting innovative programs that help our students develop critical thinking skills, and creativity. Our students must be prepared for the rapidly changing world, and I believe that providing comprehensive education that includes both academic and real-world skills is critical. I am passionate about providing every student with an exceptional education and believe that we must work together to create the best future for students.
